A refreshing, non-alcoholic mango mule mocktail that combines sweet mango, zesty lime, and spicy ginger beer for a perfect summer drink. Quick and easy to make in under 5 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh mango, peeled and cubed (about 1 large mango)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (from about 1 large lime)
  • 1/2 cup ginger beer
  • 68 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Lime wheel and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel the mango and cut into 1-inch cubes. If using frozen mango, let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to soften slightly.
  2. Add mango cubes, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup (if using) to a blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until completely smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime as needed.
  3. In a highball glass or copper mug, add 4-5 mint leaves. Gently muddle with a muddler or wooden spoon handle to release oils, being careful not to shred the leaves.
  4. Add a handful of ice cubes to the glass over the mint.
  5. Pour the mango-lime puree over the ice, filling the glass about halfway.
  6. Slowly pour in the ginger beer, followed by the sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.
  7. Garnish with remaining mint leaves (slap between palms to release aroma) and a lime wheel on the rim. Serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t blend the ginger beer with the mango—add it at the end to keep the carbonation. For a spicier version, add a slice of jalapeño or pinch of cayenne to the blender. The mango-lime base can be made up to 24 hours ahead and stored in the fridge. For a creamy version, add 2 tablespoons of coconut cream.
