  • Optional: pinch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning for dough edges

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12×10 inch (30×25 cm) rectangle about ⅛ inch (3 mm) thick.
  3. Spread ½ cup (120 ml) marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch (1.3 cm) border around the edges.
  4. Arrange 20-25 pepperoni slices evenly over the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle 1 ½ cups (170 g) shredded mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni.
  6. Cut the dough into 2-inch by 2-inch (5×5 cm) squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  7. Roll or fold each square up, pinching the edges tightly to seal the filling inside. Optionally, add a pinch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the edges before sealing.
  8. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch (2.5 cm) between each roll.
  9. Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil.
  10. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and bubbly, checking after 12 minutes to avoid burning.
  11. Let the rolls cool for 3-5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
