A vibrant, crisp, and lively blue mocktail with a perfect balance of citrus tang and subtle sweetness, ideal for all ages and quick to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces blue curaçao syrup (non-alcoholic)
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 4 to 6 ounces sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: lemon or lime wheels, maraschino cherries, fresh mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Roll 1 lemon and 1 lime on the counter to loosen their juices. Cut them in half and juice them using a handheld juicer or reamer. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp for a smooth drink.
  2. In a mixing glass or small pitcher, combine 2 ounces of blue curaçao syrup with the fresh lemon and lime juice. Add 1 ounce of simple syrup. Stir gently until well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Fill your serving glass with ice cubes. Pour the citrus-blue syrup mixture over the ice, then top off with 4 to 6 ounces of chilled sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently once to blend, preserving the bubbles.
  4. Garnish with a lemon or lime wheel, a maraschino cherry, or a sprig of fresh mint and serve immediately.

Notes

Prepare the blue syrup base ahead of time and keep chilled for quick assembly. Avoid stirring vigorously after adding sparkling water to preserve fizz. Serve immediately for best carbonation. Variations include adding pineapple juice, muddled berries, fresh herbs, or using sugar-free sweeteners.
