A quick and easy sangria recipe combining tart raspberry lemonade with crisp white wine, fresh raspberries, lemon slices, and a splash of club soda for a fizzy, refreshing summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 cups (480 ml) raspberry lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup (125 g) fresh raspberries
  • 1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
  • A small handful fresh mint leaves (about 6 leaves, optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) club soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Chill the white wine and raspberry lemonade in the fridge for at least 2 hours before making the sangria.
  2. Thinly slice the lemon into rounds or half-moons. Rinse and pat dry fresh raspberries and mint leaves. Set aside about 6 mint leaves for garnish.
  3. In a large pitcher, pour the entire bottle (750 ml) of chilled white wine.
  4. Add 2 cups (480 ml) of raspberry lemonade to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
  5. Add the lemon slices, fresh raspberries, and torn mint leaves to the pitcher. Stir lightly to mix flavors.
  6. Just before serving, add 1 cup (240 ml) of club soda or sparkling water to add fizz. Stir gently once more.
  7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the sangria over, and garnish with a sprig of mint or an extra lemon slice.

Notes

Prepare the sangria 30 minutes ahead and let it rest in the fridge to allow the fruit to infuse the liquid for better flavor. Add club soda or sparkling water just before serving to keep the fizz lively. For a stronger punch, add about 1 oz (30 ml) of citrus-flavored liqueur like triple sec or Cointreau before mixing in the soda. Use fresh raspberries instead of frozen to avoid dilution. Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of raspberry lemonade and club soda.
