A quick, colorful, and fun snack combining creamy bananas, cream cheese, and crunchy Fruity Pebbles cereal rolled and sliced sushi-style. Perfect for kids’ parties, lunchboxes, or a playful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium firm but ripe bananas
  • 4 tablespoons softened full-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and place them on a cutting board. Choose bananas that are ripe but still firm to hold their shape.
  2. Spread a thin, even layer of softened cream cheese over each banana using a spatula or butter knife.
  3. Pour Fruity Pebbles cereal into a shallow bowl or plate. Gently roll each cream cheese-coated banana in the cereal, pressing lightly to adhere the cereal without crushing the banana.
  4. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled banana into 1-inch thick pieces, using a gentle sawing motion to keep slices neat.
  5. Optionally, drizzle honey or maple syrup lightly over the sushi rolls for extra sweetness and shine.
  6. Serve immediately for the best crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Notes

Use bananas that are ripe but firm to prevent mushy rolls. Soften cream cheese before spreading to avoid tearing banana skin. Chill cream cheese-coated bananas for 10 minutes before rolling if cereal falls off easily. Serve immediately for best crunch. Store in airtight container up to 24 hours; cereal will soften. Variations include using peanut butter instead of cream cheese or adding chocolate drizzle.
